Founded in early 2018 by acclaimed designer Elinor McInnes, JOSLIN is an independent, premium fashion label based in Melbourne, Australia. The brand launched into the Australian market with its signature collection's contemporary showcase of romantic, resort-inspired linen dresses. Forever designs, ethical manufacturing, safety for women, and sustainable business operations are all at the heart of Joslin. These values have run through the veins of everything the company stands for. JOSLIN is designed discerningly with a philosophy that centers on sustainable and considered practices to create enduring, seasonless collections crafted with natural fabrications and traditional techniques.
Joslin sources certified materials, including European Flax® certified linen traceable to the Normandy region of France and Belgium, GOTS® Certified organic cotton, GCS and SFA Certified cashmere, and ICCAW (Animal Welfare), Merino Wool RWS Certified and fabric covered buttons with GRS Certified post-consumer recycled polyester.
Joslin's products ensure yearly certification of OEKO-TEX® 100 STANDARD, meaning no harmful chemicals in the dying process. Joslin supports Thread Together to keep excess stock in circulation by donating clothes to dress women while supporting their local community.
