Silk Laundry is the vision of Creative Director and Founder Katie Kolodinski. Allowing intuition to be her guide, Katie desired to create a brand that explores the intersection of luxury, conscious living, and philanthropy. With roots in Canada, a team in Australia, and collaborators in Spain, Silk Laundry focuses on timeless styles that innovate on classic ideas, thoughtfully made pieces made to be worn over and over again.
Silk Laundry partners with craftspeople in local communities, working against animal endangerment, environmental disasters, and social injustice while eliminating plastics, implementing more organic and recycled materials, and using natural dyes derived from plants. The company has recently completed the B Impact Assessment and is working towards becoming a Certified B Corp. Additionally, Silk Laundry is planting and regenerating land via Project 166, a carbon sequestration project.
