BACK TO THE OFFICE

The dreaded rentrée is here. Summer is almost over, days are getting colder, and youre probably back at your desk. But were not going to lie; were very excited for fall: fall fashion is always cozy, fun, and has a certain degree of unexpectedness. And the trends on the horizon are definitely playing the part. Were always advocating for timeless and classic pieces, and the following trends, apart from being very popular at the moment, will also be for the years to come. Heres a list of our favorite ones that youll also be able to wear at work.

Straight-legged pants

Pants are hot this year: in every possible color but in a very specific silhouette: extra-long and straight. Theyre the perfect piece to style with any tank top or bodysuit, making them easily transition from summer to fall.

Our advice is to go for pants in a neutral color, like black, grey, or chocolate brown (or even navy or dark blue), with a chic and minimal shape that will be practical and easy to style up or down. They can be worn at the office with a pair of flats (ballerinas are everywhere this season), heels, and sneakers or a tight boot on the weekend.

Slip dresses

Silky and sexy, a slip dress is always the recipe for success in any fall styling. It can be worn on its own, paired with sandals or heels on a night out, and transformed into a more work-appropriate look with a pair of sneakers, a blazer, or a knit on top (thats the great thing about any dress, really, it can also be styled as a skirt).

Waistcoats and blazers

Tailoring comes hard this season. Full-suited looks, from head to toe, are also great for wearing at the office. Well never get tired of a good structured blazer, but waistcoats are also very trending this season and perfect to be worn on their own with a jean or a pant or layers under a matching blazer when days get colder.

Make sure theyre entirely made of wool or have a high wool percentage in their composition (70-100% is ideal). Items with a high wool blend will truly shield you from the cold and keep you warm for longer. Theyre also a more sustainable option than any other item with polyester or cotton blends.

The key to engaging with trends is to make them your own: choosing timeless and elegant items that will help you transition from summer to fall while fitting your style and lifestyle. These are just three of our favorite trends for this coming fall months, but we believe these kinds of pieces are here to stay, and youll be wearing them in the coming years.
